The Dobbs Ferry Local Development Corporation (LDC), is a not-for-profit organization created under New York State law to support local investment and community growth.
One of its primary roles is helping not-for-profit organizations in the Village access low-cost, tax-exempt financing. Through this, the LDC can support projects like schools, healthcare facilities, affordable housing, and other community-serving spaces.
Funding can be used for building, improving, or maintaining facilities, as well as refinancing existing debt. In many cases, these projects may also qualify for additional cost savings, such as exemptions from certain mortgage recording taxes.
