Parking in Downtown Dobbs Ferry

Where can I park?

Parking is available on Broadway, nearby streets, municipal lots (including 99 Cedar and Village Hall), and the Waterfront lot near the train station. The Middle/High School lot is also a convenient option with access into downtown via the Aqueduct.

Is parking free?

Most downtown parking is metered during the day (Monday–Saturday), typically $1/hour. Some areas may be free outside enforcement hours. If you are parking for only 15 minutes, parking is free.

How do I pay for parking?

You can pay using:

  • ParkMobile app (recommended)

  • Kiosks or meters (card or coins)

Payment is by license plate, so no need to display a receipt.

Are there time limits?

Yes—most downtown street parking has 2–3 hour limits, depending on the street. Lots may allow longer stays.

Any important rules to know?

  • Pay attention to posted signs and time limits

  • No parking on certain streets during Festa hours due to road closures

  • The Waterfront lot has no overnight parking (2–5 AM)

  • Some lots have occasional maintenance restrictions (posted in advance)
